I had homestay 3people from Turkey.
They stayed from 14, Dec. to 16, Dec. in 2007.
Their names are Abdullah, Bunyamin, and Tayfur.
Abdullah is a high school student and lives in Konya city.
And he wants to be Islam culture professor.
Bunyamin is a university student and he will be teacher
after graduating next year. He lives in Nigde city.
Tayfur is a teacher now. He teaches history and geography
in middle school. He lives in Nigde city, too.
They are Muslim. So they didn't eat any beaf and pork, and prayed 5 times a day.
We talked a lot about Turkey and Korea.
And we went to buddhist temple called JeonDung-sa and Mosque in Seoul.
They really wanted to know about Korea as much as possible.
Especially Tayfur and Bunyamin. They were willing to learn and try to eat
Korean food, traditional playing and living.
Tayfur ate Gosari vegetable, Bossam Kimchi and Ginseng.
He seems to enjoy Korean food respect Korean culture.
He gave me turkish name "Aysa"(아이쉐).
Abdullha is a smart student. He can speak English well so interpreted for
Tayfur and Bunyamin about what I explained.
He is quit and has green eyes.
Bunyamin is quiet and he made my family and other two guys be surprised.
Below photos, he can peel apple very well.
I have never seen that my any guests can do that.
Also I gave advice to them. Many Korean don't know about Islam religion.
We have bias about Muslim because of Osama bin Laden.
You open your mind first and make foreign friends
and then let them understand Muslim.
They gave gifts to my fmily. Especially "basortusu" is so unique.
It is like "hijab". I took a phots wearing basortusu like Turkish.
We went to "Salam" restaurant in Itaewon.
We ate adana kebap, chicken shish kebab, ayran(drinking), ekmeks(bread)
and choban(salad). I really enjoyed them.

I had nice experiences with my guests.
I hope they like Korea, and tell their friends and students good memorys
