Homestay (20070831 ~ 20070901) From Pakistan

Homestay (20070831 ~ 20070901)
From Pakistan : Husnain, Tariq

I had homestay from Aug. 31 to Sep 1st.
They are from Pakistan and the process of master now.
One of two studys chemical and the other does Korean language.
They are all excellent students as other students visited my house.
They seemed to be happy to stay with Korean family.
And my family had a good time with them expecially my son.
They were wearing a traditional costume for preying in mosque.
Pakistan has national language called Urdu and official language is English.
But I am not used to their pronunciation. So it is difficult for me to
understand clearly what they said.
We exchanged traditional gifts. They gave traditional scarf to my husband
and me. I took photos with wearing it. I put photos below.
Doesn't it look wonderful?
I gave traditional hand fan and ginsang candy to them.
They brought portable hard disc to introduce pakistan's
information such as history, scenery and geography etc.
Pakistan is against India. So 85% of the government budget spend for defence.
They asked to me, which one is more important, defence power or economy?
They seemed to want development of Pakistan economy.
I read an article on newspaper a few days back.
Headline is "Is the wind of democracy blowing in Pakistan".
According to this article, present president in Pakistan is dictator and general.
Pakistan situation makes me recall under the former Korean
president, General Park and Jeon over 20 years back.
Maybe Pakistan people will have to suffer from sever politics situation and
many students may die for democracy like happening in Korea.
Cheer up Pakistan.
